Holly Majerus is a local artist whose work celebrates the beauty of nature and still-life through detailed pencil drawings and vibrant canvas paintings. Her art begins as a blank page and transforms into something meaningful full of life and color. Holly's artistic journey has led to several notable achievements, including having multiple drawings displayed at the Iowa State Fair, and contributing both a cover art and interior illustrations for two published books. While this exhibit features smaller works suited to the display case, Holly also creates large-scale pastel drawings that showcase her skill with soft textures and rich colors.
