We will have hands-on art projects that will spark learning and discovery for kids in K-5, as well as a snack! This is a drop-in event and no registration is required.
Let's go! Drive, dodge, and maneuver your way to a first-place finish in our Mario Kart Tournament! Prizes for the winners. 6th grade and up. This is a drop-in program - no registration necessary. Tournaments happen every Wednesday.
This in-person group is open to aspiring authors of all experience levels. Each participant brings an approximately 1500-word excerpt of their work-in-progress to read aloud. Fellow writers offer constructive critique following each writer's turn. Members may email excerpts to each other ahead of time so those who plan to attend can bring hard copies if they wish.
LEGO Club provides a fun atmosphere where children can learn, build and play with the library’s set of LEGOs. Each meeting will have a new theme or challenge. Great for kids in grades K-5. Registration required.
Are you a student in 8th through 12th grade looking to make a difference in your community? Join our VolunTEEN program at JPL! On the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month, from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m., you can volunteer to help with tasks that support our youth events. Volunteers will help prepare crafts and activities for library programs and assist with various tasks throughout the library.
Join JPL's Anime Club each week for Japanese snacks, anime trivia, and art projects! All fans welcome! Registration is not required, but it is appreciated for planning purposes. You will receive reminder emails about meetings if you register.
This month, we want you to bring your own book to talk about! Bring your favorite book. Bring the book you're currently reading. Bring your LEAST favorite book. Just bring a book and be ready to tell us a little bit about it!
